Miramar Loses three times!

Federation Premier: Olympic 3, Miramar 2 An exciting game with both sides having plenty of chances. Olympic scored first with a penalty before half time. Miramar pounced on a back pass for Zonnoto to touch past the keeper, then Zonnoto again for Miramar following a goal mouth scramble. It was all on in the second half with Packo headering in from a corner. Justin Frederickson for Olympic went close twice with good chances, then with 3 minutes left, Jared skinned his marker and put in a perfect cross for Alex Smith to head past the keeper to make it 3-2 and a dramatic win for Olympic. Federation Reserve: Olympic 4, Miramar 1 Two goals from Ian Paterson saw the reserves come back to winning form. A solid performance and a step up from previous weeks, Olympic took their chances and deserved the win. Masters 1: Olympic 5, Miramar 0 Olympic played into a strong wind in the first half and defened stoutly against the previously unbeaten Miramar. Just before half time Spiro pounced onto a long ball to make it 1-0. 2nd half with the wind at their back was all one way traffic as Olympic scored 4 further goals. Liolis and Spiro ended up with 2 each and Olympic back on top of Masters 1! Good weekend for Olympic.
