Pre-Season Cup Final

The boys in blue have gone down 3-1 to hosts Petone Football Club in the 2013 Caltex Railway Avenue Hilton Petone Cup.  

The club's reserve side are in action tomorrow night (Mon. 25th) in their final against University. Get along to Maidstone Park Upper Hutt, to support the boys in blue - kick-off 7pm.

Congratulations to Petone Football Club on their win in the Main Division, and goodluck the Capital Prem's.

Hilton Petone Update

Cup finals dates/times have been changed!  

Please note that due to the unavailability of Memorial Park the 2013 Caltex Railway Avenue Tournament for the Hilton Petone Cup Finals have been moved to Maidstone Park, Upper Hutt. A big thanks to Upper Hutt City FC for accomodating the changes.

Van Elia finds the net as the Junior All Whites win their second U20 World Cup Qualifier.  

New Zealand have beaten Vanuatu 1-0 in the first match on day two of the OFC U-20 Championship at Churchill Park in Lautoka, Fiji.

The All Whites line up for the most eagerly awaited match of FIFA World Cup qualifying to date tonight and the outcome could result in the finding of Oceania's qualifier for the intercontinental playoff in November.

DUNEDIN – The All Whites are in pole position after posting a perfect record of four wins from four matches and a victory at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin will see them top the group and advance to the home-and-away playoff with the fourth-placed team in CONCACAF in November for a place at Brazil 2014.

Barbarouses - Enjoying Athens life

Life is pretty good for All Whites forward Kosta Barbarouses.  

He is on loan to Greek club Panathinaikos from his Russian club Alania Vladikarkaz until the end of the season. It suits him. Being of Greek heritage, he has settled quickly and feels comfortable at the Athens-based club.

Boys in Blue on International duty

Junior All Whites open with win in Fiji.  

New Zealand U20s has opened their campaign to qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey with a 5-0 win against Papua New Guinea in Fiji. Wellington Olympic's Van Elia was an un-used sub for the Junior All Whites. Next up for Van and the Junior All Whites - Vanuatu, Sunday 23rd March.

Back in Action!

Wellington Olympic are back in action and training hard for the season ahead. They will kick start the year with the annual Hilton Petone Pre-Season Cup.  

The draw for the 2013 Caltex Railway Avenue Tournament for the Hilton Petone Cup has been released. The tournament will start on Sunday 17 February and ALL games will be played on Sundays.
