The third-placed Blues went down 2-1 to Wellington Olympic at Bluewater Stadium, Park Island, after trailing 2-0 for 80 minutes of the match.
The Wellington Olympic Reserves finished their season on a high defeating Wainuiomata at a messy Richard Prouse; 5-3.
Amoungst the goal scoreres was; John Gerondis, Klevis Kllogjri & Jared Putt who netted a hat trick. This see's them end their campaign in the middle of the table; surviving again for another years endevours to bring home the Capital Premier league title.
Former Brisbane Roar striker Kosta Barbarouses has joined Greek giant Panathinaikos on a one-year loan from his Russian club Alania Vladikavkaz in what could become a permanent switch if the New Zealand international prospers.
